Hosted by Madison Bikes and Capital Brewery Update June 4: We're closely watching the weather. Our ride leader anticipates being at the starting location and then make the call from there. If the weather looks okay in the short term, we may do an abbreviated ride to the Fire Station #9 bike station for root beer floats.
Capital Brewery is one of our beer sponsors for the Madison Bikes Bike Week Party! But how are we going to get the cases from Middeleton to Brittingham Park?? You guessed right: By bike! Meet at Crazylegs Plaza (Regent/Monroe intersection) for a 5:30pm (sharp) departure. We’ll ride the Blackhawk Path to the Capital Brewery at a leisurely pace (12 mph) and after a beverage/food break return the same way. Rain or shine. Distance is about 14 miles. If you want to go faster or slower, that's cool. Route is an abomination of on and off-street paved paths. Please bring lights, lock, and a flat kit.
